Designing a Brand Identity for Deer Creek High School

Capstone Project

Deer Creek High School is a new public high school opening in 2026 in Midway, Utah. My capstone project aims to develop a full scale brand identity that gives the school a recognizable, meaningful, and enduring visual presence.

Inspired by the idea that school branding can shape a student’s sense of belonging, my process will include developing a primary mascot mark (Riverhawks), secondary athletics and academic marks, a wordmark, lettermark, and official seal. The project will include real world mockups such as uniforms, signage, merchandise, and key areas within the building.
